This is a picture of a rear deck in Huntington Harbor. If you look closely you will see extensive warping along the edge of the deck. A great way to prevent this from happening is to:
1- try keeping the deck in the shade some how during the summer. 2- If you have a wood deck, keep a good coat of stain or paint on the surface and cracks.
