This was a wall at a home I inspected today... The wall is leaning over and about to fall due to over saturation and loose soil conditions at the base of the wall. There is no drain to take all the excess settling water away from the walls base. To prevent a problem like this, you would want to put in a perforated pipe underground and direct the settling water past the houses foundation and into the street. |
